Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) / Vocational Rehabilitation Overview

Pre-ETS helps you prepare for employment and gain real-world work experience, as well as advocate for yourself in the workplace. Pre-ETS services include: career exploration, self-advocacy, work readiness training, counseling on post-secondary education opportunities, and work-based learning experiences.

Soft Skills

Soft skills refers to your ability to work and interact with others. Soft skills are valuable in the workplace.

  • Soft Skills to Pay the Bills is a curriculum developed by Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP)focused on teaching "soft" or workforce readiness skills to youth, including youth with disabilities.
