California Subminimum Wage to Competitive Employment Project (CSP)

California’s CSP project aims to help adults, students, and youth with disabilities transition from sub-minimum wage jobs to competitive integrated employment. A collaboration among several agencies, the project offers services addressing challenges faced by those in sub-minimum wage employment, especially high school graduates. It expands the College-to-Career programs in North Orange and San Diego Counties, where participants can pursue academic or technical education leading to credentials or explore other employment paths. Services include supported education, job training, vocational skills, customized employment, business support, family support, and a peer mentoring network.
