COVID 19: Public Benefits and the CARES Act - 4/15/2020

Description: This webinar is hosted by The George Washington University, Center for Rehabilitation Counseling Research and Education, a partner of the WINTAC, and is presented by Cornell University Yang Tan Institute on Employment and Disability. This live webinar will focus on helping stakeholders better understand how social benefit programs (i.e. SSI/SSDI/Medicaid etc.) may be impacted by the Coronavirus Aid Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act.

The resource entitled “COVID-19 and Social Insurance and Benefit Programs”, developed by the Yang Tan Institute on Employment and Disability from Cornell University will serve as the foundation of the presentation. This webinar is scheduled for 2 hours with 90 minutes dedicated to presenting content and 30 minutes dedicated to a question and answer period.

This 2 hour webinar will be recorded in case individuals cannot participate during the live event. The recorded session will be posted on the WINTAC website shortly after the event for those interested in viewing the recording.

Closed Captioning will stream during the webinar. A copy of the transcript is also available upon request. Please be sure to complete the evaluation located in the platform in order to receive CRC Credits. CRC credits (2) will be awarded upon completion and submission of your evaluation.
