Proposed Priority for Workforce Innovation and Technical Assistance Center - July 8 - 7/8/2015

The Assistant Secretary for Special Education and Rehabilitative Services proposes a priority to establish a Workforce Innovation and Technical Assistance Center. We take this action to provide training and technical assistance to improve services under the State Vocational Rehabilitation Services program and the State Supported Employment Services program for individuals with disabilities, including those with the most significant disabilities, and to implement changes to the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended by the Workforce innovation and Opportunity Act, signed into law on July 22, 2014.
