Abstract Details for PACER's National Parent Center on Transition and Employment (NPCTE)

The repository of all PACER published information on transition related topics, the NPCTE website has a Learning Center organized into several topical categories including Postsecondary Education, Employment, and Laws and Rights. Web visitors can also subscribe to the NPCTE e-newsletter, Inspiring Possibilities. Subscribers receive twice monthly issues that focus on new, recent, and favorite resources on timely topics of importance to youth and young adults with disabilities transitioning to employment. Featured resources provide strategies to help youth achieve their post-school goals with support from their families, advocates, educators, workforce development professionals, the community, and other natural supports. From the NPCTE website, visitors can also access the NPCTE Facebook page. NPCTE Facebook posts help followers stay informed while also celebrating the successes of individuals, the broader disability community, and living in an inclusive community.
