Title Workplace Resources for the Blind
Summary In 2017, based on statistics derived from the Census Bureau’s American Community Survey, there are 3,869,339 individuals ages 18 to 64 with vision disabilities living in the community. Amongst working-age blind adults, one leading barrier is not knowing how to use Braille, a skill which has been found to be correlated with successful employment outcomes for those with blindness. The following links from WorkforceGPS are workplace resources targeted for this population.
