Title DeafBlind Interpreting Year 1 Newsletter Update
Summary Within a framework of evidence-based practice, the DeafBlind Interpreting National Training and Resource Center (DBI) is charged with enhancing communication access for persons who are DeafBlind by increasing the number of qualified interpreters able to effectively interpret utilizing protactile ASL, tactile communication and other strategies to meet individual needs. This newsletter highlights their work during the first year of their five-year grant.
