Title Common Adult Eye Conditions
Summary This course includes information about the causes, symptoms, treatment, and prognosis of both juvenile and age-related macular degeneration; cataracts; diabetic retinopathy; glaucoma; retinitis pigmentosa; and other adult eye conditions. This course is available for CRC, ACVREP, and NBPCB credit. Course Objectives: The student will know the symptoms, diagnostic tests, and treatment. Students will understand the impacts of vision loss and how low vision services can help. Students will understand various treatment options and possible outcomes of treatment. Students will understand the issues related to the adjustment of vision loss.
